It's not easy to really get a point across to someone, and both sides need to be in the right mindset to reach an understanding. During this punishment session I lost track of my objective and got emotional, resulting in a short break in between and lots of talking. He made sure I understood what I was being punished for and walked me through it with lots of love and patience.
